Abraham is buried in Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, alongside his parents, Philip Kleis Auxer and Maria Lieder Auxer. Buried in the same site are his sister, Catharine Auxer Niess and her husband, Ephraim H. Niess, and his grandmother, Susannah Lieder Kaylor.
