(This might be the Martha Rudd who married James Carter January 8, 1835 in Jefferson Co., FL. There doesn’t seem to be

any record of any other Rudd families in the area during that time period and Elias David Rudd does appear in the 1830

Jefferson Co., FL census where he appears to have remained until about 1835.)

Co., SC at the same time that Elias David Rudd was there. My feeling is Rebecca is the daughter of Elias and Fannie, but if not,

she is the daughter of George Washington and Susannah.)
