George Adam Reichert (bpt. 1759 - d. 1813)
In translating the 1975 Erlenbach Letter, I noticed an interesting word on page 3:
"Sebastianus Reichert [father of Lorenz]
legitimate son of Adam Reichert, Vorsteher in Erlenbach."
Vorsteher is translating as [superintendant or foreman or chief]
I am guessing that he may have had something to do with running the city of Erlenbach, I hope someday future research on the history of Erlenbach will reveal more about George Adam Reichert.
