     The Lincoln County Genealogical Society is a historical - genealogical organization founded for the purpose of gathering and preserving the history of Lincoln County and the family records of its people.  The society is registered in the state of West Virginia as a nonprofit organization.

     Annual dues in the society are $10.00 for a single membership and $15.00 for family memberships (same household) per calendar year running January 1 to December 31 each year.  Paid members will receive all copies of the Lincoln Lineage for that year.

     Our meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month February through November at the Hamlin Public Library located at 7999 Lynn Avenue, Hamlin WV.  There are no meetings held in the months of December and January.

     The society welcomes input for publication, family history, ancestor charts, descendant charts, 4/5 generation worksheets, cemetery listings, etc.  Even if it is not complete, please submit them.  They can be handwritten or typed.  If typed, please use a format similar to ours with one-inch margins on all sides.  This saves valuable time and enables us to use your material without retyping.  Send all submissions to:
