In 1884, Joseph Liggins of Measham England, emigrated to New Zealand with his wife and family aboard the "British King". Eventually settling in Tokomaru, Joseph became the Forefather of the 'Liggins Family Tree - New Zealand Connection', and it is from this that this website is born.
Many hours of work have been put into the research and documentation of both Joseph's Ancestors and Descendants, and is the culmination of joint efforts by:
