George ASHMORE was born 29 Sept 1867 in Ryhope, Durham, England to Thomas Dalton ASHMORE and Mary HARDY. He died 9 Apr 1925 in Manly NSW Australia. Husband to Maria Walker TODD, father to Harold, Norah and Elizabeth.

'Bert' Bradley was my great-grandfather. He was born 29 Aug 1880 at Tiverdale, Stafford, England to Charles Edwin BRADLEY and Phoebe Ann BRADLEY. This photo was taken when he was about 18 years old in 1898. He died 9 Jan 1957 at Five Dock, NSW Australia. Wasn't he handsome ?

This is William Albert BRADLEY and Rosie Hilda KETLEY on their Wedding Day.
They were married at Ashfield, NSW on the 20 April 1905.

This is Bert in 1947. He died before I was born, but he was called "Daddy Pie", (he used to say to my mother when she was small, "How's my puddin'n'pie?") and my great-grandmother was called "Pie"

Rose or Rosie Hilda KETLEY was born at Ryde NSW in October 1883. She married W A BRADLEY in 1905 (see Wedding Photo above). Their children were Rose, Beryl, Albert and Bruce. She died in November 1968.

This picture was taken about 1949. She was about 45 years old.

These two lovely people are my Grandparents. They were married the 5 April 1930 in Drummoyne NSW Australia.

This is my great-great-grandfather. He was born 30 Jan 1840 at Great Leighs, Essex, England to William KETLEY and Lucy ALGAR. He died 15 Feb 1914 at Camperdown NSW Australia. Husband to Emma CHEESEMAN. Father to Florence, William, Winifred, Rosie, Elsie and Ruby.

William Snr was born about 1816 at Little Waltham, Essex, England. He married Lucy ALGAR in March 1838 at Chelmsford, Essex, England. He died 7 Oct 1897 at the Union Workhouse, Maldon, Essex. Father to William, Hannah, Ellen, Charlotte, John, Ruben, Benjamin, Susan and Emma. He remarried in 1876, so the photo might have been taken then.

Emma was born 27 April 1847 at Balmain NSW to John CHEESEMAN (or CHEESMAN) and Martha CROFT. She married William KETLEY in 1876 and died 28 April 1939 at Ryde NSW Australia.
