Charles Edwin BRADLEY - Death Certificate 1936

I think Charles would have been a very proud man, although my Grandmother remembers him as being very strict and "English". His wife Phoebe died in 1919. He lived with his two spinster daughters, Annie Martha (Patty) and Mary Maude, until his death.

William Albert BRADLEY - Birth

My great-grandfather's Birth Certificate. Bert was born 29 August 1880 at Tiverdale Hall, Stafford, England to Charles E BRADLEY and Phoebe A BRADLEY.

William Albert BRADLEY

This photo of Bert was taken when he was about 18 years old in 1898. Wasn't he handsome ? He died 9 January 1957 at Five Dock, NSW Australia.

BRADLEY and KETLEY

This is William Albert BRADLEY and Rosie Hilda KETLEY on their Wedding Day. They were married at Ashfield, NSW on the 20 April 1905.
They had four (4) children - Rose, Beryl, Albert and Bruce.

William Albert BRADLEY - 1947

This is Bert in 1947. He died before I was born, but he was called "Daddy Pie". He used to say to my mother when she was small, "How's my puddin'n'pie?", and the name stuck.

Rosie Hilda BRADLEY - 1949

And of course, my great-grandmother was called "Pie". This picture was taken in 1949 when she was about 66 years old. Pie died in November 1968.

William Albert BRADLEY - Vale

I am not sure which magazine this vale came from, but it gives a wonderful account of Bert's life.
