Utilla (Utilly, Otellia) Hahn

First Generation

 

1.  Otellia (Utilla, et al) HAHN was born in 1774 in Lincoln, Catawba, North Carolina, United States.  She died after 1820 in Clark Co., IN.  LDS records Otilla Utilla was b. 1779 in NC and Othelia was born in  1783. It is unclear which daughter is whom.

 

 

Otellia (Utilla, et al) HAHN and Elias YODER were married about 1800 in Lincoln (Catawba County), North Carolina.  Elias YODER (son of Conrad YODER and Christina CLINE) was born on 31 Oct 1777 in Lincoln, Catawba, North Carolina.  He died on 13 Dec 1817 in Clark Co., IN.  Died before 17 Dec. 1817.  Various records show Otellia, Othelia and Utellia. We are not sure  which one married Andrew Marks. Otellia is listed as Johannes Hahn  1712's daughter, born before 1774, and she married Elias.

  Otellia (Utilla, et al) HAHN and Elias YODER had the following children:

 

                             i.   Conrad YODER[1] was born in 1808 in Lincoln, Catawba, North Carolina.  Was found to be of unsound mind with his sister Mary as his guardian  Feb.-Nov. 1847 Bartholomew Co., Ind. at which time he was placed in a   county home in Bartholomew County.

                            ii.   Joseph YODER was born in 1809/10 in Lincoln, Catawba, North Carolina.  He died before 13 Feb 1847 in Bartholomew Co., Ind..  Died before 13 Feb. 1847 Bartholomew Co., Ind. Apparently never  married and willed to Conrad and John.

                           iii.   Simeon Jonas YODER was born on 21 Sep 1812 in Lincoln, Catawba, North Carolina.  LDS records list Simeon Jonas Yoder, although Mrs. Eaker's account  does not.

                           iv.   James YODER[2] was born about 1815 in Clark Co., IN.  Was living in the home of John Masters age 34 b. NC in Union Twp.,  Davis Co., IA in 1850.
