Peter Hahn

First Generation

 

1.  Peter HAHN[1] was born about 1765 in York Co., Pa..  He was confirmed in 1779 in South Fork Church, Lincoln, NC.  He appeared in the census in 1790 in Lincoln (Catawba County), North Carolina as follows:  He appeared in the census in 1800 in Lincoln (Catawba County), North Carolina as follows:  He appeared in the census in 1810 in Capt Cline District, Lincoln, (Catawba), NC as follows:  He appeared in the census in 1820 in Clark Co., IN as follows:  He appeared in the census in 1830 in Knox Co., IN as follows:  He appeared in the census in 1840 in Knox Co., IN as follows:  He died after 1840 in Knox Co., IN.  Peter Hahn, son of Johannes Hahn and Agnes Langlin  is listed in N.C.   records as having gone to Indiana in 1811. Both he and his wife were  listed on Lincoln County records in 1810 census as being over 45  years of age and on 1820 census of Clark Co. He may have had sons  George and John. Peter was confirmed at South Fork in 1779. He may be   the one listed in the estate records of Henry Reep 11 Jun 1816 Clark  Co. Peter Hahn who went to Clark Co., Ind. appears to have had a son  George and a George appears in Mo. 1820- 1830, both near same age and   both too young to have been Johannes' sons or to fit the slot on  which George was depicted.  LDS records say Peter was born 1768 in Lincoln County, NC.

 

Peter Hahn confirmed 1779 at South Fork (church) (Eaker).

Peter Haun is on the 1800 NC census in Lincoln County, 2 white males 10-16, 1 male 26-44, 1 white female 10-15, 1 white female 26-44, 3 household members under 16, 2 over 25, total 5.

Peter Haun listed on 1810 census, living in Capt. Cline's District, Lincoln Co., NC: 1 male 16-25, 1 female 16-25, 1 male over 45, 1 female over 45.

Peter Honn is listed on the 1820 Indiana census in Clark County: 1 white male 26-44, 1 white male 45 or older, 1 white female 45 or older.

Peter Hahn not found on 1850 census in Indiana
