I've researching this family for several years:

Abner Terril Womack was born April 23, 1830 in Jackson county, AL, and died 1902 in St. Francois County, MO. He was a son of William Womack and Sarah McBee. He married (1) Lucinda Hahn May 03, 1849 in Perry County, MO, daughter of Christian Hahn and Elizabeth Grounds. She was born 1827 in Perry County, MO. He married (2) Mary Ann Pirtle February 07, 1865 in Perry County, MO, daughter of Isaac Pirtle and Susannah Wilson. She was born November 04, 1837 in Indiana. He married (3) Mary Johnson Aft. 1872.

In 1850 William and Sarah were living in Perry County, MO. and Abner and Lucinda were living in Cape Girardeau County next to Lucinda's Uncle John Hahn and Brother Jousha Hahn.

Abner T. Womack patented 40 acres of land in Perry County, MO on Sept. 1, 1859.

Certificate No. 29729

Abner T. Womack patented 166 acres of land in Perry County, MO on Sept. 10, 1859. Certificate No. 89123

1860 U.S. Census for St. Francois County, MO. Shown is A.T. Wommack, age 30, Farmer, Value of Real Estate 500, Value of Personal Estate 225, Born in Alabama; Lucinda, age 32, born in Missouri; J. W.(John William), age 8, born in Missouri; S.L.(Sarah), age 4, born in Missouri; C.L.(Christian Levi), age 6/12, born in Missouri.

Abner T. Womack married Mary Ann Pirtle February 07, 1865 in Perry County, MO, daughter of Isaac Pirtle and Susannah Wilson.

The 1870 U.S. Census for Madison County, MO showing Abner Womack, age 40, Lead miner; John Womack, age 18; Christian Womack, age 10; Julian Womack, age 5. Please note that Mary Ann “Polly” (Pirtle), Susanna Rosella, Jasper Marion are not living with Abner. It could be that they had separated already and the children are living with her in another household.

1870 census for Warren County, Tenn. shows Abner Womack age 71, born NC, with wife Azenith and laborer William Davis. Were two Abner Womacks born in NC? FAther and son perhaps?

The 1880 U.S. Census showing Abner and family, but he moved to Iron County, MO and following people are listed: Abner Womack, age 50, Laborer; Johnson Womack, Wife, age 42, Keeping House; Robert Womack, Son, age 8; Daniel W, son, age 6; Perlenia, daughter, age 1. I believe Johnson is Mary A. Johnson, Abner’s third wife.

The 1900 St. Francois County Census shows Abner Womack, age 70; Mary A. Womack, Wife, age 62; Daniel W. Womack, son, age 26; Lelia P. Womack, age 21; Ellen M. Womack, age 19.
