Johannes Bible Donated to Museum

In 1975, the family of Ada Annetta HAHN (Socrates Augustus (Gus)-4, Jesse-3, David (1)-2, Benedict-1)donated the Hahn Bible to the Catawba County Historical Museum. She was born on 28 Sep 1876. Ada Annetta Hahn attended Lenoir College and taught one term at Minerva School south of Hickory, NC. She also sewed for a sewing room in Hickory before marrying George Amon Miller. The Johannes Hahn Family bible, a Martin Luther edition of 1720, was placed in the Catawba County Historical Museum, Newton, NC following Ada's death in memory of the Hahn family.
