- Thomas Fox, Virginia Company Thomas Fox, possible ancestor of Jane Fox, was a member of the Virginia Company of London in 1608 - 1609, which financed the original colony at Jamestown, VA. Jane Fox appears to have been an ancestor of the Jacksons of Brunswick Co. VA, and of Leroy Jackson of Tallapoosa Co. AL
