James CHURCHMAN 185,186
- Born: 1826, Sawston, Cambridge, England 186
Noted events in his life were:
• James CHURCHMAN was present on the evening of the 1841 British Census on 6th June 1841 in Sawston, Cambridge, England. 186 James was 15 years old and living with his parents.
• He resided at Mill Lane in 1841 in Sawston, Cambridge, England. 186
• A list of paupers of Sawston dated the quarter ending 25 December 1842 shows James Churchman, aged 18, as "in the workhouse" for 11 days. The reason stated is that he was out of work. There is no record of another James Churchman born around 1824 and therefore it is probable that this individual was the son of John and Mary Churchman.
