I would be grateful for any information on Gethin(g)'s from wherever in the World.

Notes on reading the tables

The tables are arranged in Name, date and place of Birth, Fathers name, Mothers name, date and place of Baptism, Date and place of Marriage, name of Spouse, date and place of Death, age at Death. Where there is more than one record for an event, I have included all records.

Generally I have arranged the information in Chronological order, the main exception is I have inserted Marriage records 20 years before the actual date, to help to tie together births and marriages.

Months in BLUE refer to the 4 quarters of the year, Mar (Jan Feb Mar), Jun (Apr May Jun), Sep (Jul Aug Sep), Dec (Oct Nov Dec). This applies to records taken from the St Catherines House Index to Births, Deaths and Marriages. In these cases the place of registration is the registration district to which application can be made for copies of the FULL certificates. Cost £7 plus Stamped Addressed Envelope or postage.

WARNING

There WILL be errors in this table, as the information has been transcribed 4 or 5 times. Also I have tried to connect Births, Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths. Inevitably I will have got it wrong here and there, so remember to check out the information for yourself, and just use these pages as a potential shortcut.

If I have got it wrong, then please let me know as I would welcome any corrections.

If you have any queries, please contact me as I may have additional information to that shown here.
