Was born in Quebec City, December 3, 1859. As a baby we can assume he accompagnied his family on their summer visits to the Chateau-Richer Manoir des Pins. He was a steamship captain in the Great Lakes of Ontario. Died September 6, 1924 in Toronto.
I don't know much about this William LeMoine, who is my greatgrandfather, my uncle , has confirmed to me he has a sense of humour with this story :
He would often walk from the Department (of Lands) to the house on Concord. On his way he would sometimes stop at St. Peter's Cathedral. Once while there he was praying in and a woman came out of the confessional and knelt beside him. When the preist left the confessional she remarked that his cossak was rather unkept. William replied that he wasnt the preist but the janitor...
