Articles From Various Newspapers Regarding The 1904 World’s Fair

The following articles were transcribed exactly how they were printed from various newspaper sources.  All mistakes in grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. in the articles remain unchanged in transcription. Therefore, please don’t tell me about the mistakes because I decided not to correct the original article.

The majority of the articles are about the 1904 World’s Fair, but I did include news about other events taking place in St. Louis at the time the fair was taking place.  Everyone knows about the beautiful buildings and the general events of the 1904 World’s Fair and 1904 Olympics held in St. Louis, but I’ve always been curious about the “behind the scenes” action and about what people thought of the fair… the day to day events of that time.

I plan on adding articles on a weekly basis for the next few months and if you have any leads by all means let me know so that I can research various newspapers to see if it made print.
