Dear Rick:
I will give you a few facts about the Vinson side of your family.
Frank, Victor, Maude and Lulu Vinson were the children of Erastus. Frank
was contractor in Indianapolis and built the Indy 500 track. It was
paved with bricks at that time. Victor was a newspaper publisher in Irvine, Ky., and had several other papers
in that area. Lulu was school teacher in Indianapolis. And of course your grandmother Anne.
You are definitely related to Fred Vinson of Louisa, Ky. Fred visited us many times in Irvine
and corresponded frequently with Daddy. In fact he was instrumental in my securing an appointment to the Naval Academy at Annapolis.
I recall many wonderful days at the Walkers in Shelbyville, and remember your mother particularly well, as she was very outgoing and friendly.I do not remember Koss and Maude so well, as we were not all that close, except through the Walkers. If there is anything else that I can tell you, I will certainly relate it to you.
Happy to find another cousin, aslo hope that could meet sometime.Best regards,
Your cousin Don.

Hi,
I am the gg-granddaughter of Mary T. Glardon. I would like to learn
more about her parents and siblings if you have that information. Also,
incase you are interested, she was living in Wheatland, IN area about
1900 and died sometime after 1904 but before 1907. From what I can
determine, she is not buried in Aurora, IN with her husband and
children. At the time of her death, she was living with her daughter
Bena and son-in-law, Franklin Miller. Mary's daughter, Bena, died in
Covington, KY on December 31, 1907 due to complications from my
grandmother's birth.
