Descendants of John D. Leland,

Granddaughter Donna Leland, a former head nurse in Beaumont Texas, daughter of Dudley C. Leland, and her grandnephew Leland Sonnier, whose grandfather, Percy Warren Leland was Donna's brother, and until May of 2001 unknown as a descendant.  Leland Sonnier placed a query on the Leland Forum about his grandfather, and that supposedly cleared up the mystery of the will filed at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse for a Percy Warren Leland in 1972, about 50 years after his supposed demise, however the will was for another Percy Warren Leland.  This picture was taken about a year before Donna died and just before Leland went into the Army, I would venture about 1982.
