Park LeFevers, 60, Church Custodian, Claimed in Death
Park LeFevers, 60, 512 Jackson Street, died
at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 2nd, at the University Hospital in Louisville.
A retired miner, Mr. LeFevers was custodian of the First Baptist Church
here for 14 years.
A native of Bell County, he was born June
17, 1896, the son of Sidney (Sonny) and Mahalia Coldiron LeFevers. He was
married to Myrtle Twinam and she with one son, Sam Paul LeFevers, survive.
He also leaves two sisters and one brother;
Mrs. Lucy Butt, Detroit; Mrs. Virgie Howard, Brodhead; and Charlie LeFevers,
Straight Creek; and half-brothers and half-sisters: Farmer, Paul and Otis
LeFevers, Dwight, W.S., Adrian and Ray Osborne, Lillie Lawson, Mildred
Collett and Bessie Neal, all of Bell County; Sarah Cash, Mason, Ohio; and
Carrie Osborne; and his mother: Mrs. Mahala Osborne, Brodhead, Ky.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m.
Monday at the First Baptist Church, of which he was a member by the Rev.
Winn T. Burr. Interment followed in the Pineville cemetery at Pineville,
his former home, by the House Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers were members of his Sunday
School class.
