Mae L. Lefevers
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Mrs. Mae L. Lefevers, formerly of Bell
County, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 1993, at Baptist East Hospital
in Louisville.
She was born in Knox County, Ky., a daughter of the late John M. Lock
and Caroliine Howard Lock. She was a retired school teacher, having taught
in the Bell County and Jefferson County School Systems for many years.
She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Middletown Woman's
Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Jefferson County Teachers
Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Theodore Lefevers.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William J Aiken, Anchorage, Ky.,
and Mrs. Thomas holbrook, Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. harold Gross,
Middlesboro, and Mrs. Martha l. Brock, Pineville; one brother, Reed M.
Lock, Mt. Dora, Fla.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and
a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Durham Funeral home with the
Rev. Rafe Collett presiding.
Burial will be in Pineville Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Thomas A. Holbrook Jr., Wesley Goodroe, Donald
Price, Clarence Durham, William J. Aiken, and Edward Brock, Jr.
Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today at Durham Funeral home, which is
in charge of arrangements.
