MRS. LUCY LEFEVERS
Mrs. Lucy Lefevers, age 88, of Pineville, Ky.,
passed away Thursday, December 29, 1977, at the Pineville Community Hospital.
Mrs. Lefevers was born July 5, 1889, the daughter
of the late J.D. Lefevers* and Telitha Woolum Lefevers.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
Jeff Lefevers, 12 years ago in April. She is survived by several
nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were Sunday, January 1, at
the Cherry Street Church of God, in Pineville, with the Rev. L.E. Durham
and the Rev. Charles Carr officiating. Burial followed in the Pineville
Memorial Cemetery. Durham Funeral Home was
in charge.
*By my research and that of others it seems unlikely that Lucy's parents were named Lefevers. Rather, she is probably the daughter of Jordan D Epley and Telitha Woolum Eply. See: http://www.parallax.ws/rwoolum/Woolum.html
