Kettle Island Youth Dies After Illness
Jimmy Lester Lefevers, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore
Lefevers died Saturday at the residence in Kettle Island after a long illness.
Besides the parents, survivors include three sisters,
Miss Shirley June Lefevers, Miss Marty Lou Lefevers, Mrs. W.J. Aiken; the
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Lock, and the paternal grandmother,
Mrs. Susan Lefevers.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Kettle
Island Baptist Church by the Rev. Dance.
Active bearers were Jimmie Ray Wilder, Billie Wilder,
Slusher Lefevers, Clifford Lefevers, Earl Evans and Charles Mills, Jr.
Honorary bearers were Orval Bailey, John B. Pariott,
Jimmie Siler, Frankie Laslie, Clarence Nelson and Orval Marcum.
Burial was at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with funeral
arrangements under the direction of the Durham Funeral Home.

Kettle Island, Ky., Feb 10. -- Funeral services for
Jimmy Lester Lefevers, 17, were held recently at the Kettle Island Baptist
Church with Rev. J.C. Dance of Harrogate, officiating. Burial was in the
I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pineville.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore
Lefevers and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Akin, Martie and Shirley Lefevers.
The pallbearers were Jimmy Ray Wilder, Billy Wilder,
Slusher Lefevers, Clifford Lefevers, Earl Evans and Charley Mills, Jr.
