"Nick" Lefevers passes away

     Ferman Jolly (Nick) Lefevers, a prominent member of Bell County passed away monday November 12 of an apparant heart attack. Born in Bell County on January 16, 1926 the son of Mrs. Mabel Withrow Lefevers and the late Newt Lefevers, he was a life-long resident of Bell County. He was a member of the Blackmont Baptist Church. Mr. lefevers was a york rite Mason, past Master of Lodge 691, a memeber of the Eastern Star, American Legion, and past President of Chain Rock Citizens Band Club. He served 2 years in the U.S. Navy and was employed by the Dept. of Parks in Pine Mt. Park, Pineville.
      Survivors: wife mrs. Eileen Britton Lefevers, Pineville, mother, Mrs. Mabel Lefevers, Pineville, one daughter, Kimberly Denise Lefevers, two stepdaughters, Lisa Ann Lefevers, Teresa Lynn Lefevers all of Pineville, two sisters, Mrs. Earnest Ann Broughton, Pineville and Mrs. Eva Bea Hebron, Columbus, Ohio, one brother, Newt Lefevers Jr., Milford, Ohio.
      Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday November 14, 1973 at the Arnett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pearl Saylor officiating. Active Pallbearers: Jim Bingham, Grant Ward, Jr., Ed Jenkins, Roy Jarvis, Hubert Dozier Jr., Jewel Farris and other members of Bell Lodge 691 F & AM. Honorary Pallbearers, Chain Rock Citizens Band Club and the American Legion.
      Interment was in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery.
     Arnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
