My grandparents lived at 90 East Street in Rutland, from the time I can remember. They rented the top of a large Victorian house at that address, next to a vacant lot, and when I was in Rutland in 1987, the house was still standing and the lot still vacant.  It had a front parlor, a large dining room, and I think two bedrooms.  We always came up the back stairway of the house and entered in through the kitchen.  Grampy always kept a box of apples under the stairs outside and I remember him peeling them for us as a treat.  Their beagle, Skunky, negotiated that same stairway for years, and finally I think had to be put down, probably in the mid 1960s, because he could no longer make it up and was too heavy to carry.  There was always a box of toys belonging to my Uncle Dick, stored under the buffet in the dining room, which amused me whenever I visited.  I remember finding my way up to the attic there once, discovering a cache of very old Mad Magazines that belonged to Dick, dating probably from the first issues of the mid 50s.

Living children have not been included here.  The include my mother, my uncle and my aunt.
