In 1772, they appear as sponsors at a Baptism at Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed Church, Jacson Twp, Lebanon Co, Pa of Christine Kublinger, dau of Henry and Sibyl Kublinger, b 20 Mar 1772, sponsors were Peter and Margaret Berry.

Peter Berry, Sr has the reputation as a maker of the Pennsylvania Kentucky Rifle during the last 10 years prior to his death. This is from Pennsylvania Archives, 5th series, Vol VII.

His will is found at County of Dauphin, Will file B5, probated August 29, 1795.

According to www.piperspages.com/Berry.html, "Peter Berry was born about 1730 in Alsace Larrane, Germany. Sometime before 1755, he emmigrated to the United States and settled in Massachusettes where he married Margaret Killinger*. Peter and Margaret had 7 children, Peter, Conrad, Henry, Barbara, Margaret, Nicholas and Jacob. In the late 1770's, Peter moved to Lebanon County (formly Lancaster), Pennsylvania. He served in the Revoluntionary War in the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania."
