John WRIGHT⁽⁸⁹³³⁾ Parents: Joseph WRIGHT and ??.

Joseph WRIGHT⁽⁶⁾⁽⁸⁹³⁴⁾⁽⁸⁹³⁵⁾ signed a will on 5 Nov 1759 in Fauquier Co, Va. He died before 27 Mar 1760.⁽⁸⁹³⁶⁾ Per Dawood, Joseph wrote his will 5 Nov 1759 naming daughters as Hester Jackman, Mary Russell and Catherine Bailey. His will was proven 27 August 1760 in Fauquier Co, Va and Thomas Jackman and Benjamin Russell, his sons-in-law, were the executors of his estate. The estate was inventoried 27 November 1761.

Joseph was one of the early residents of Fauquier Count, arriving January 26, 1727, having been granted 121 acres on the south side of the Watry mountain.

"In the name of God Amen. The fifth day of November 1759 I Joseph Wright of Fauquier County being very sick, and weak of Body but of perfect mind and Memory thanks be given to God for the same and therefore calling to mind the uncertain State of this transitory Life and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner and Term following. First of all I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of God that save it, and my Body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a decent Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Exrs. Nothing doubting at the general Resurrection by the mighty Power of God to receive the same again. My Will and Desire is that all my worldly Debts shall be well and truly paid and as touching the Remainder part of my worldly Goods wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this Life with I give demise and dispose of the Same in Manner and Form following. Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my beloved son John Wright and my beloved Daughters Hester Jackman, Mary Russell and Catharine Bailey, all my whole Estate both real and personal to be equally divided to them and their heirs forever. My Will and Desire is that my loving Friends William Russell and Thomas Jackman shall be the sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament. I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannull all and every other Wills Legacies or Executors by me in anywise before named, willed or bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the Day Month and Year first above written . "November the 5th 1759 on recollecting my memory as I give and Demised to my beloved Children John Wright Hester Jackman and Mary Russell and Catharine Bailey all my Estate both real and personal and remembering an information by sundry of my Neighbours that my son John has made a Conveyance Deed to Capt. Elias Edmonds for that part of the Land that I now live on which he says he held by a Deed of Gift that I make to him some Years past which I utterly disallow, revoke and deny that every I made a Deed to him for any Land except it was for that part which he lived on as far as the Division Lane as we formerly made in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Day and year above written. "At a Court held for Fauquier County the 27th day of March 1760. This Will was proved by the Oaths of Lazarus Taylor and Richard McPherson Witnesses thereto, and was ordered to be recorded and on the Motion of the within named William Russell and Thomas Jackman who mad Oath and executed and acknowledg'd Bond as the Law directs Certificate is granted them for obtaining a probat thereof in due Form. Col John YANTIS died in 1837 in Lafayette County, Missouri. He was born in Germany. He served in the military. Of Garrard County, Kentucky, a Revolutionary soldier of German birth. Commanded a regiment in the War of 1812, and for many years he represented Garrard County in the Kentucky Legislature. He lived on his plantation near Lancaster, Kentucky, until 1832,when he moved to Lafayette County, Missouri. There he ran for Congress, in 1834, on the Whig ticket,but failed of electiron, and dided in that county in 1837. Parents: Jacob YANDES .
