(Spencer) Liebrich, 79, a resident of Kent Regency Genesis Eldercare, Commonwealth Avenue, Warwick, died October 8, 2005. She was the wife of the late William C. Liebrich, Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Sidney C. Spencer and Edith E. (Briggs) Spencer Bagley, she lived in Warwick for over 50 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Judith A. Lopez, Joan H. Bradley and Patti S. McGarrahan all of Warwick; and a son, William A. Liebrich of Warwick; a sister-in-law, Sally A. Spencer of Warwick; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Charles S. Spencer.

Her funeral will be held Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. in the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be held Oct. 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.

Her parents emigrated to Ohio about the year 1796, at a time when the State was very thinly settled, following a trail which was marked by the blazing of trees. Were among early immigrants from Connecticut upon the "Western Reserve", that portion of Northeastern Ohio originally belonging to the State of Connecticut. Traveled on horseback to the new home of her parents in Ohio. Lived in Mesopotamia until her marriage. She was a devoted wife and mother, whose home was her delight, and to whose hospitalities friends were always welcome. A lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church, her last audible words were "Jesus, receive my spirit." Parents: Hezekia SPERRY.

Fred SPROED⁽¹⁰⁵⁰⁾. Anton Korb met Fred during a trip to Oregon in 1887. He stayed with Anton for some time, and was converted to the Seventh Day Adventist faith. After awhile, he went back to Minnesota, the state which was his adopted home, attended an Adventist Seminary, fitted himself to be a missionary of that faith. Early in his student life, he married and soon after graduation, he and his wife with their two children, went to Brazil for missionary duty.

Eventually, Fred's parents with his five younger brothers and sisters came to America, apparently settling in Minnesota. When Fred died, his widow and three daughters were still living in Minnesota. Parents: SPROED and Sadonia KORB.
