Photographs From Word War I

These photographs were from the World War I era. A few of them were mounted on post cards and have some writing on them.

This Photograph is on a post card addressed to "Dr Alex. M. Lennox", whom I am told was a minister. There is no mailing address and it obviously was not mailed as a post card. The correspondance reads "Wishing you a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Taken at Bordeaux, Nov 26, 1918"

The pictures on the left and right appear to be a soldier at an army camp.

This photograph was on a post card in the enclosed Souvenir from Coney Island Envelope. Although not mailed the above was addressed to Mr Alex Lennox, Mayfield, NY. The message from City Island, New York, "Mr. Lennox how do I look in a Submarine? How is everyone? I am feeling fine, Good bye, William"
