     Naomi Hull was probably born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, between 1632 and 1634.²

     Naomi Hull was born on 17 February 1657 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹

     Naomi Hull was baptized on 22 March 1639/40 in Barnstable, Massachusetts.² She married Davy Daniel after 1667.² Naomi died after 4 July 1682.²

     Phineas Hull was born circa 1647.² He married first Jerusha Hitchcock before 1671.^2,3 Phineas Hull married second Mary Plaisted circa 1689.² Phineas died on 25 January 1691/92 in York, Maine.²

     Priscilla Hull was baptized on 31 March 1652 (written 32 Mar 1652 in the parish register) in Launceston, Cornwall, England.²

     Raynold Hull married Elinor ?.² Raynold Hull was buried on 12 February 1582/83 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.²

     Rebecca Hull was born on 10 August 1659 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹

     Rebecca Hull was born circa 1663 in Fairfield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.¹

     Reuben Hull was baptized on 23 January 1648/49 in Launceston, Cornwall, England.² He married Hannah Fernside circa 1672/73.^2,3 Reuben died after 23 December 1689 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.²

     Richard Hull was born circa 1515 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.² Richard married second Alice ? circa 1550 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.² Richard married first Unknown ?.² Richard died before 6 June 1559 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.²
     

     The earliest known mention of this family was in 1548, liviing in Crewkerne, Someret, England, where he was a husbandman and a miller. He is mentioned in The Survey and Rental of the Somerset Chantries, 1548, as holding by copy, half a mill called Cont [sic] (Court) mill and rendering per annum 3s. 6d. The survey was made after the dissolution of the monasteries by King Henry VIII, when the lands and property of the chantries were seized by the Crown during the reign of King Edward VI.

     Richard's will refers to his ghostly father, Sir William Sherewell. This indicates that he had been baptized and that Sir William Sherewell was his godfather. The records of the family are found inSt. Bartholomew's Parish Church at Crewkerne beginning in the year 1558. Prior to the dissolution of the monestaries no written records were kept. It is logical to assume that the Hull family had been parishioners prior to that time and were faithful Roman Catholics until, in the time of King Henry VIII, the whole parish became the Church of England. Richard probably was baptised a Roman Catholic circa 1515, at St. Bartholomew's. Two generations later, some of Richard's descendants were Puritans in the Church of England and left for the Massachusetts Bay Colony in America.

     Richard apparently had two wives. Very little is known of his first wife who may have been the mother to three or four of his children. He married second, circa 1550, Alice. Alice's will was dated 12 October 1587 and was proved in November 1587. Richard's will was dated 10 February 1558/59 and was proved in June 1559. Richard's will refers to Thomas, the elder, and also to Thomas [probably the younger]. St. Bartholomew's parish records also uses the term "Thomas, the elder." Alice's will does not refer to either Raynold of Thomas, the elder. This leads to the conclusion that they were sons by the first wife. The original wills of Richard and Alice were destroyed by fire at the Exeter Probate Registry.²

     To my wife Alice Hull and to my daughter Elynor Hull a silver spoon each.

     His will was proved on 6 June 1559.²

     Richard Hull was baptized on 21 November 1579 in St. Bartholomew's, Crewkerne, Somerset, England.² He was buried on 27 March 1597 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.²

     Richard Hull was born on 3 December 1599 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.¹ He married Unknown ? circa 1630 in New Haven, New Haven Co., Connecticut.¹ Richard died on 3 December 1662 in New Haven, New Haven Co., Connecticut, at age 63.¹

     Robert Hull was baptized on 8 November 1584 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.² He was buried on 5 April 1597 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.²

     Samuel Hull was born circa 1645.² He married Mary Manning on 16 November 1677.^2,3 Samuel died on 7 April 1706 in Piscataway, New Jersey.²

     Theophilus Hull was born in 1660 in Fairfield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.¹ He married Mary Sanford between 1690 and 1693.² Theophilus died in 1710.²

     Thomas Hull was born in 1552 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.³ He married Joan Pyssing, daughter of Richard Pyssing and Margery Everedd?, on 11 January 1572/73 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.^3,4 Thomas died before 29 December 1636.³ He was buried on 29 December 1636 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.³
     

     Thomas lived in Winsham and Crewkerne, Somerset, England. He was taxed, in 1627, at Crewkerne, in the Subsidy of King Charles I.³

     Some time before 1599 the four families who had inherited equal shares in Crewkerne Manor from the last Earl of Devon decided to have a survey made to ascertain the value of their inheritance. These four families were Mawde Hull (widow of John Hull brother of Thomas Hull the younger), Margery Pesinge (widow of RIchard Pesinge, mother of Joane Peson wife of Thomas Hull the younger), Elizabeth Pesinge (sister of Joane Peson), and Thomas Hull (the younger).

     Thomas made a will on 17 December 1636. Transcription of Thomas' will, Archdeaconry of Tahuton, 1636-75:

     Thomas Hull of Crewkerne, dated 17 Dec 1636
     All my goods and chanttells to my daughter in law Edith Hull's four children, to be divided among them as shall be most need by the descretion of John Ball, schoolmaster [headmaster of Crewkerne Free Grammer School, 1612 to 1636], and John Bere, the elder.
     Edith Hull my daughter in law to be executor in trust for her four children.
     Witnesses, John Ball, John Bere.³

     His will was proved on 10 February 1636/37.³
