He was listed at age 24, occupation as a shoemaker with real estate value of $600, born in Pennsylvania. Also enumerated in the household: Rachel Boone, John Andrew Boone and Elizabeth A. Boone.²

     In the Census of 1860, enumerated 6 August 1860, Perry Boone was listed as a head of household in Black Creek, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. He was listed at age 35, occupation as a master shoemaker with real estate value of $2000 and personal estate value of $875, born in Pennsylvania.      In the Census of 1870, enumerated 6 August 1870, Perry Boone was listed as a head of household in Black Creek, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. He was listed at age 41, occupation as a farmer with real estate value of $10,000 and personal estate value of $1,070, born in Pennsylvania. Also enumerated in the household: Rachel Boone, John Andrew Boone, Elizabeth A. Boone, Mary Catherine Boone and Samuel Perry Boone.⁴

     In the Census of 1880, enumerated 11 June 1880, Perry Boone was listed as head of household in Black Creek, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. He was listed at age 54, occupation as a farmer, born in Pennsylvania. Also enumerated in the household: Rachel Boone and John Andrew Boone.⁵

     Persis Boone was born circa 1685 in Stoke Canon, Berkshire, England.¹ She married George Henton circa 1715. According to conflicting evidence, she married George Henton circa 1719.¹ Persis died after 1747 in Berks Co., Pennsylvania.¹
     

     Persis arrived in the Colonies on September 29, or October 10, 1717. From Boone Family History information, published in "Philadelphia Perimeter" (WWW media) - "The ship carrying Squire Boone from England arrived on September 29, 1717 (presumeably, Persis Boone was on the same ship with Squire Boone). . In our opinion, these dates should be reported, based upon the calendar system in use at the time (i.e., if Persis Boone thought she arrived on September 29, 1717 - then that is the date which we should use - along with a notation that she was using the Julian calendar time-line). Similarly, if the date of Embarkation from Bristol was August 17, 1717 (Gregorian); then we should make record of the date as August 6, 1717 (Julian)."¹
