     Susannah Fulgham was born in 1684 in Isle of Wight Co., Virginia.¹ She married Hardy Council, son of Hodges Council Jr. and Lucy Hardy, in 1705.^2,1 Susannah died before 6 October 1757 in Isle of Wight Co., Virginia.³
     

     Susannah made a will on 19 April 1756. In the will she names daughters Susannah, Christian Daughtery, Mary Brantley, Martha Fowler, Lucy Johnson, and Ann Lawence; sons Charles, Michael, Hardy, and Joshua; grandson Willis Council; and grandaughters Selah Council and Sarah Lawrence. Sons Charles and Joshua were named executors. The will was witnessed by William Murphree and Robert Johnson.

     Her will was recorded on 6 October 1757.

     Unknown Fulgham was born circa 1510 in England.¹ She married Godfrey Foljambe, son of Godfrey Foljambe and Katherine Leake.¹

     Joane de Furnivall married Thomas Neville, son of John de Neville and Maud de Percy, circa 1379.¹ Joane died on 1 June 1413.¹

     Iza Ollie Gabler was born on 10 June 1886 in Weakley Co., Tennessee.^1,2,3 She married James Glen Lawrence, son of James Richard Lawrence and Mary Crockett Owen, circa 1905.^1,3 Iza died in January 1987 at age 100. Last residence listed in the Social Security Death Index was McKenzie, Carroll Co., Tennessee.^2,1 She was interred in Tumbling Creek Cemetery in Weakley Co., Tennessee.¹

     Adella Gaskins was born in September 1874 in Tennessee.^1,2,3 She married Robert V. Dinkins, son of James Beck Dinkins and Louiza Jane Lawrence, on 9 December 1891 in Henry Co., Tennessee.⁴ Adella died before 1920. She was interred in Lawrence Cemetery in Henry Co., Tennessee.¹

     John of Gaunt was born in March 1340 in Ghent, Flanders.² Conflicting evidence states that John of Gaunt was born on 24 June 1340.³ He married first Blanche of Lancaster, daughter of Henry of Grosment and Isabel de Beaumont, on 19 May 1359 in Reading.⁴ He married second Constance of Castile & Leon in June 1371.⁵ He married third Katherine Roet, daughter of Paon Roet, on 13 January 1396/97.² John died on 3 February 1398/99 Leicester Castle in Leicester, Leicestershire, England, at age 58.⁶
     

     John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster, English soldier and statesman, the fourth son of King Edward III of England, and brother of Edward, the Black Prince. John was born in Ghent, now in Belgium. John of Gaunt played an important part in wars between England and France and between England and Spain. He helped the Black Prince to establish English rule over most of southern France during the Hundred Years' War (1337-1453). In 1367 John defeated the army of Henry (later Henry II, King of Castile and León). John temporarily laid a claim to the throne of Castile. Together with Alice Perrers, his father's mistress, John dominated the English government. In 1377, on the accession of Richard II, John gave up his control of the government and thereafter played the role of peacemaker; he also supported the king, who made him Duke of Aquitaine in 1390.⁷
