The family questionnaire gives Angeline's date of death as December 1887 an d was completed in 1915. Will use 1886 as year of death as the Certificate was more timely to the actual event and is considered more reliable.

This will need further re search; however, in this case will rely on information from Daryl Povey and attrribute the marriage of Agnes Matheson and (?) Devlin to the Agnes born in 1883.

Note handwritten descendant tree of Andrew Matheson obtained from Rob Williamson notes that Andrew and Agnes w ere married in 1823 in Glenluce, Wigtownshire, SCOTLAND and that the marriage record lists Andrew's surname as "Mathews.". Glenluce and Inch are geographically very close together looking at modern-d ay maps.

This gives the location of marriage as "St. John's" ins tead of St. John. There is no St. John's in New Brunswick. There is a St. John's in Newfoundland/Labrador; however, since this family was known to have been in New Brunswick will concentrate researc h efforts on St. John instead.
