- Daryl Povey. Genealogy Correspondence - September 8, 2003;
according to the Handwritten Descendant Tree of Andrew Matheson it was this Agnes

the marriage of Agnes Matheson and (?) Devlin to the Agnes born in 1883.

tree of Andrew Matheson.
- Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints, International
Genealogical Index, Family Group Record. "Andrew Mathews married Agnes McCarley
on December 28, 1823 in Inch, Wigtown, SCOTLAND." Note handwritten descendant
tree of Andrew Matheson obtained from Rob Williamson notes that Andrew and Agnes
w ere married in 1823 in Glenluce, Wigtownshire, SCOTLAND and that the marriage
record lists Andrew's surname as "Mathews.". Glenluce and Inch are geographically
very close together looking at modern-d ay maps.
- Ibid., "Andrew Matthew" Child of Andrew Matthew and Agnes
McCarlie.
- Daryl Povey. Genealogy Correspondence, September 8, 2003;
this is where the information regarding Andrew's middle name came from. This
source gives a birth year of 1871. Will rely on the birth year of 1872 give
n by the Handwritten Descendant Tree of Andrew Matheson as that has proven credibility,
although the birth location of Pleasant Creek will be taken from Daryl's correspondence.
- Ibid., Genealogy Correspondence, September 8, 2003.

- Rob Williamson. Genealogy Correspondence - September 3,

from an unknown source. This gives the location of marriage as "St. John's"
