To any regularily [sic] ordained Minister of the Gospel, Judge of the Dist. Court, Co. Judge, or Justice of the Peace - Greeting - You are hereby authorised to join in the Holy Estate of Matrimony Mr. R. C. Turner and Miss Sarah Ann Pattillo, and for so doing this shall be your sufficient authority and due return of your proceedings hereon make to me at my office in town of Orange within sixty days as the law directs. Given under my hand and the seal of the County Court at office this March 24^th 1870.

Return - I do certify that Mr. R. C. Turner and Miss Sarah Ann Pattillo so as joined in the Holy Estate of Matrimony by me the 3^rd day of April 1870.
