Albertina Engstrom also emigrated from Sweden in 1865 and married Andrew about 1867. Or did they marry earlier? There is no marriage record for them in Houghton County, MI. There are also no birth records for sons Charles and John Albert born in Houghton County, MI either...
Or is it Charlotte Friederika Tietjens? Friederika's parents are apparently Peter Tietjens and Maria Young (Jung?), but so far no sign of them in Schleswig-Holstein region of Germany. Davenport, IA was a hotbed of emigrants from that part of Germany -- were some of the other Tietjens in Scott County, IA related to Friederika?
Apparently cousins existed in Dodge County, NE where William Will first lived after entering the US. Louise "Lizzie" Will is found with William in 1880 census - this is his sister. She married Peter Dierks.
In researching a connection to the DAHL family, a Dora Will was found, the 2nd wife of John H. Dahl. Is this the sister in the US who sent a ticket for Wilhelm Will to also leave Germany? John Dahl and daughter Etta are also witnesses to Lizzie (Will) Dierks' wedding.
Dora Lange has been mentioned as a cousin. She was married to August Lange. What was her maiden name?
Minnie (Siefert) Hall is also mentioned as a cousin. She is the daughter of Gottlieb and Katherine (Will) Siefert/Seifert. Katherine "Kate" may be an older sister of William and Lizzie.
