Kay with her note book in Lakeview Cemetery May 2003.
The ski pole serves as a cane for walking on the rough ground. The mirror redirects the sun light to make the markers readable. The shaving cream brings out some inscriptions. Despite my best efforts, there are markers that are illegible.
Generally, epitaphs were not recorded. The older stones which were the hardest to read were more likely to contain an epitaph. It you find an ancestor in these listings, you are invited to make the trip and visit the grave. Record the epitaph if there is one and the primary genealogical record of seeing the stone for yourself. My purpose was to make it easier for you to find the grave.
