The negatives for these pictures were discovered in a box of old documents owned originally by my grandmother, Vera Gutchess Higginbottom. It was very exciting to get them developed. I couldn't wait to see what the pictures would show me!

They turned out to be of Christmas at Vera and Sam Higginbottom's house in Hollis, Queens - Long Island, New York. It looks like their children, Helen, Jane and Jim were there along with their families!
