Despite the height of the watchful dwarven clerks, the ceiling is high enough for the tallest giantman to move freely without stooping or bumping his head, though he might entangle an elbow in one of the many drapes of rich purple velvet that line the wagon's walls. Sunlight coming through the large window causes the polished mithril tables to sparkle and shine. Whenever errant breezes stray through the wagon's open door, clerks scramble to reposition the quills that roll off a low mithril counter. You also see a small mithril stand with some stuff on it and an elegant black-inked sign.

On the mithril counter you see a vivid scarlet ibis quill (4k), a fluffy silver ostrich quill (3k), a white-tipped blue heron quill (750 silver), a brilliant green parrot quill (2k) and a striped golden pheasant quill (500 silver).

On the mithril stand you see a silken fern embroidered bookmark (1k), a gold-tipped flame red satin bookmark (3k), a silver-tipped ocean blue bookmark (1k), a bronze-tipped dusky velvet bookmark (2k) and a snowy iris-patterned bookmark (1k).

You will also find here quills, for taking notes while reading, and several fine bookmarks to save you from the cardinal sin of breaking your book's spine... although Gloumerrick's books rarely possess spines that may be broken so easily.

Polished mithril shelves laden with stacks of books line all three walls, stretching from the tanik floor to the arching ceiling. In order to permit the dwarven salesclerks to reach the highest volumes, a latticeworked mithril stepladder leans against one wall. Small silver-edged placards on each shelf display the titles of various books along with the names of their authors. A grey-haired dwarven guard stands beside an amethyst-beaded curtain and keeps his wary eye trained on the merchandise. You also see an elegant black-inked sign.

Gloumerrick's Books will close Restday evening in order to begin travelling to River's Rest. We expect to open in River's Rest on the eve of Niiman. Prospective stowaways should consider the fate of the elf in the loft (to the west, and up the stairs) and then reconsider.
