Farewell: Gerald Lankshear 1918 –

Gerry's father was Ron's Uncle Tom. Gerry was in the rear guard at Dunkirk and
was a POW in Poland. Finally escaped on the long march back to Germany and
was helped by a Polish family and he married their daughter and started a family
in England and then migrated to Canada. Gerry and Zofia's family is a major
contributor to Ontario and beyond. Bless Him and our thoughts and prayers are
with Zofia and all their family.

Really Good News – Ron's grandson 7 year old Harry has had leukaemia since 2003 great news came last week whilst Ron was on vacation

Ron's personal news
I am in a bit of an overload situation at the moment.
Next Saturday I will be in a hospital for a week for some surgery and I am in
process of re–financing our retirement money – selling an investment unit etc.
So Genealogy is on back burner at moment but do send me any news you have. I
would love to hear from you. If I have not replied to any
recent notes please write again as perhaps a mail filter gobbled yours. Check
