UK Domesday Book etc

There are many tax and land records form that period. The most famous being
the Domesday Book of 1086). There are tax records
from various money raising schemes thought up by King or parliament and
Manor Rolls often say a lot about ownership or tenancy of land. Of course
many such records are lost but many survive.
