Address Search on On Line 1881 census at LDS 

Only the CD version allows actual address search.

You might want to search by address if you cannot find them by name and yet you know an address 

However if you can find some one else in the same street and can find them on line you can use the Link on the page to next household to page through the street numbers. 

Trade Directories such as London Kelly's have street lists
Presumably if you have an address from BC etc then it is a residence and the other houses in street are perhaps also residences and perhaps the people in directory are still resident

Now the www.google.com method 
Someone else may have put an 1881 census record on their own family history site for your street.
So I tried some of my LANKSHEAR folk - the spelling variations show why I might not be able to find using name but if I knew an address then I should find them

Mary LENKSHERE was at 246 Clapham Rd Lambeth

I looked in google for 1881 Clapham Rd
Several hits but turned out all those were Odd Numbers and looking through the odd side of the road got me nowhere - where on earth are the even numbers in 1881 on line

Try Edwd.P. LANSHEAR at 4 Hasset Road (Even Numbers)
Found out maybe it should be Hassett but nothing to find on 1881 all records of people born in the street but not their census record

Found this on 1881 on line Dwelling: 45 Douglas St
Census Place: Deptford St Paul, Kent, England

Found George and then using next household links got to Jane
several pages but well worth it if I knew her address which I did from 1871 census when name was spelt LANKSHEAR
