Dean Family re Susan Lankshear to Charles 1875
From Margaret Selwood 3/2009 about her great grand parents.
Charles & Susannah (nee Lankshear) I would think it was taken between 1901 - and Charles death in 1915 as the house in the background looks like their cottage on the Holkham estate in Norfolk where he worked. Although I could be wrong!!
Considering Susan was born 1843 and looking at her in photo perhaps in 70s Ron would consider this about 1915. Charles still has the bearing of a Scots Guardsman. I wonder what the medals are?
Ron is in touch with Margaret and also another descendant Brian Dean who has helped me with finding data on the family in Oxfordshire etc
