1939 Kelly's directory has school as shown in Becklow and Vespan Rd. I remember first going there when I was 5 and being expected to sleep - I don't think I ever slept in the day at home. They had lovely little beds lined up in a class room And later we used to dress up in Wolf Cub uniform for "Empire Day"
