1773-1773	1773 William Lankshear - son of William and Peggy BUT died 1773 but see William born 1777 for confusion re 1773 original gedcom had this "deceased" boy as married to an Elizabeth NK no marriage date etc provided with daug Margaret Elizabeth 1800 - I have assigned all this as for the 1777 birth who did marry an Elizabeth The Kencot PR birth was obviously not found by the researcher and the infant death of William was not shown of course there could be a second son of William and Peggy called William - but he has not been found - sadly it seems that Peggy lived in Witney whilst William moved to Chelsea so sounds like no family to keep him in Witney.
1776-1824	Bap 27 May 1776 son of Thomas and Mary (Hammersly) Lankshear and children n Alvescot, Oxford he is in gedcom but nothing other than baptism the following seem to fit him - death 1824 at 49 - seems to be more likely mathematics than the William of 1777 1808 William Lankshear from Curbridge marriage Ann Lankshear at Witney Says from Curbridge - see 1785-1804 Property Land Tax for Thomas and Robert Lankshear - the Thomas mentioned I assumed was the Older but in 1785 it could refer to Thomas his son the father of 1776 William who by 1781 appears to have moved back to Witney from Alvescott so the "of Curbridge" is likely to refer to the father farming near to Curbridge Whereas it seems that Joseph father of 1777 William was living in Hanborough at this time Death 1824 William Lankshear age 49 at Witney 1824 less 49 1775 clearly husband of Ann per their wills Yes I have changed my original opinion re the husbands of Ann Lankshear and Elizabeth Parrott
