Thomas was Proprietor of Houses - so this 1881 is interesting in how it shows
Ann as Cousin (Head) and Thomas as House Owner (No Occ).
I assume he still owns houses in London but is now in Lancashire (almost first Lankshear seen in Lancs ??)
Maybe he owns this house but Ann runs it - as a Boarding house
or maybe he doesn't and the term just means he has rents from London but lives elsewhere
Note Frank is a boarder but Thomas is a Lodger
