11. William Eagle (Thomas , John , Unknown , John , William ) was born on 18 Mar 1789 in Hilborough, Norfolk. He was christened on 23 Mar 1789 in Hilborough, Norfolk.

Shown as a Private in the 24th Light Dragoons in 1810 on the occasion of his marriage. The 24th Light Dragoons were the renamed 27th Light Dragoons they served under Lord Lake in the Mahrata & Pindaree campaigns in India in actions at Alighur (4 Sep 1803) Delhi (11 Sep 1803 and 17 men took part in the action at Lasswaree (1 Nov 1803). The regiment does not appear to have served in the Peninsula campaigns and was disbanded in 1818.
