Stevens - married to KING in EAGLE line
see KING - per EAGLE marriage to Lankshear
Ann Stevens is mother of Jane KING and wife of William see 1841 William King and family
Eldest daughter Ann in 1841 is 14 so born 1826/27 hence marriage must before 1827
Ann STEVENS would have been 21 in 1826
Found these in research
see 1851 KING family - Ann now Widow a
niece Louisa is with Ann KING see McMurdie or MacMurdie Family
and IGI shows her mother as Martha who married JOHN MACKMURDIE 22 MAY
1825
Ann was born ChristChurch Southwark so presumably her sister was also
and yes
MARTHA STEVENS - International Genealogical Index
Birth: 25 APR 1806 Christening: 31 AUG 1806 Saint Saviour, Southwark, Surrey,
England
Father: HENRY STEVENS Mother: ANN
Note: mother is an Ann

And the actual register shows Henry as a Breeches Maker - Martha born 23 April
Alas there are Ann's at the church but none with father Henry
Changing IGI to Greater London up comes
ANN STEVENS - International Genealogical Index
Birth: 13 APR 1803 Christening: 03 JUN 1803 Saint Clement Danes, Westminster,
London Father: HENRY STEVENS Mother: ANN
Age looks right - parents same name as sister "younger" Martha - not
Southwark but perhaps they were upmarket for Ann or moved soon after.....
St Clement Danes not available on line - nice if it was available and showed Henry as breeches maker
but we know Henry Stevens breeches maker is Ann's father as it is clear Martha is her sister
and also
1852 marriage of Ann King (Stevens) to Fred
Disney Certificate shows Ann's father as Henry Stevens tailor what else is a breeches
maker
IGI has HENRY STEVENS Marriage to ANN CONWAY
20 FEB 1798 Saint Martin In The Fields, Westminster, London
And this looks very likely as our Ann
looked for birth Ann Conway but nothing is clear
Henry Stevens in directory
1805 Holden directory has our Breeches Maker at 4 Brunswick St.
1917 Atlas shows Brunswick St as near Blackfriars - so just a short walk over the bridge to London churches.
Nowadays it seems to be called Paris Gardens - note the pub on the corner Brunswick Arms
Finding Henry after 1806
The events from 1803 1805 1806 are only items I can find for Henry - perhaps he dies soon after or around the times his daughters marry. Burials are not clear
The Henry Stevens that are not our Henry 1800s 1810s and 1841 census
and basically a similar story for Ann - some possible in 1841 census but nothing helps links - you'd think she would be with her daughters - and clearly they are in touch per Louisa McMurdie with Ann Stevens in 1851.
