MADISON CO. BERRYS
formed from Culpeper County
This site is still a work in progress and will be periodically updated to reflect additional information learned from genetic genealogy, plain old fashioned genealogy and contributions from readers like you. If you have any additions or corrections to contribute I would appreciate hearing from you by clicking this link.
This site has been developed with Reunion 9.0b, the latest release of the Reunion database and is current through March 25, 2010.
To navigate this database, click on a person's name in a preceding or succeeding generation to go there; click on a name in the current generation to see Notes and Sources.
The bulk of the information on this site was gleaned from HeritageQuest and Ancestry online census images. I have attempted to list all the Madison County Berrys shown in the various censuses from 1850 through 1930. I have done the best I could with the spellings and many of the relationships.   By necessity, I guessed at some of these relationships and have no way of knowing about others that should be shown. We welcome the opportunity to correct any errors or show relationships between those in the database.   Just let me know.
My purpose in developing and presenting this database is to encourage the DNA testing of living Berry surnamed male descendants of the persons listed herein with the aim of confirming or refuting the relationships shown insofar as possible.
If you are such a person, or know of such a person whom you would like to sponsor, or just have questions about genetic genealogy or DNA testing generally, I'd be happy for you to drop me a line by clicking this link.
