The earliest known ancestor for this line is William H. Berry who was born in 1867 or 1869 in Pennsylvania. There is not enough information to identify this man on either the 1870 or 1880 census records. William Berry married Bertha Templeton circa 1891. This family lived in Blair County, Pennsylvania in 1900 and 1910. William died in 1915 and his widow and children continued to reside in Blair County through 1930. Although no records have yet been discovered connecting this line to the Augusta County, Virginia BERRY line, DNA results show the lines are closely related.
