William Berry and his wife, Henrietta or Hannah Unknown [b. ca 1745] were first documented in 1785 in Warren County, Georgia. William died circa 1807. The children of this couple are believed to be: William G. Berry [m. Nancy Lincecum]; Elizabeth Berry; Gilson (Jilson) Berry [m. Mary Coursey]; Presley Berry [m. Anna White]; Anderson Berry [m. Mary Ellis]; Mary Berry; Anna Berry; Jarrott Berry; John Berry; possibly David Berry. Descendants of William Berry migrated to Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Texas.
