ALLEN (Langille), Margaret Ann - 88, formerly of 29 Charles St., Truro,
passed away September 2, 1999, in Kay's Rest Home, Hilden.
Born in Kemptown,
she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Rosie (Munro) Archibald.
She was a former employee of the Atlantic Christian Training Centre in Tatamagouche
and was later employed at Tidewater Construction.
She was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Truro.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by daughters, Doris (Ross) Knight, Phyllis (Grant) Putnam,
Caroline Simpson and companion Bill Reynders, all of Truro;
son, Victor Langille, Truro;
nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
brothers, Herbert Archibald, Kemptown; Edgar Archibald, Onslow.
She was predeceased by her first husband, William H. Langille;
her second husband, Edwin Allen;
sister, Vera MacIntosh;
brothers, George, Stanley, Lee and Charles Archibald.
Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home,
512 Willow St., Truro. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in
St. Andrew's United Church, Truro, Rev. Margaret Sagar officiating.
Burial will be in Kemptown Cemetery. Family flowers only.
